LOTR: Return of the King
There's a LOTR marathon in Tel Aviv on next Wednesday - all 3 movies, one after the either, until 4 a.m. Sadly, you won't find me there - I have a final exam the day afterwards, not to mention work. Where are the days when I could stay until 5 a.m. without even winking. I left them in university, i guess. I'm only 25 and suddenly feel so old.

listen to the rhythm of the falling rain
it's winter here in Israel. The sun isn't so blazing anymore. the pavements are wet, and the air is cold and windy. I'm not too fond of winter. I'm a summer girl. I need the sunshine, the flowers and the warmth.
The cats don't like the winter either. there isn't enough sun for them to bathe in. Dexter insisted on us letting him go out on the porch, only to find a cold wind and a gloomy shadow of the sun. This is one of the reasons I wake up every morning to find a cat snuggling with me and the warm blanket.
We plan to go on a little escapade this week. We are to spend the weekend in the north of Israel, where I hope we will find autumn leaves and winter flowers.
